Le Duc Tung was born into a family with a proud revolutionary and patriotic tradition that contributed to Vietnam’s liberation and renewal, in Thanh Hoa Province. He attended Phan Huy Thuc Primary School, a modest, underperforming school in District 7. Even so, through sheer determination and dedication to learning, he won admission to Nguyen Huu Tho Specialized School—one of District 7’s top schools—with a perfect score. For high school, he sat for the entrance exam to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School in District 3. Although he did not pass admission to Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, he decided to pivot and study at HELP University, a leading international university in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business with high distinction, Le Duc Tung secured a position at Hoa Sen Group. With deep passion for Hoa Sen and tireless dedication—working day and night, wholeheartedly committed—he was promoted through roles and rotated across departments. From a procurement officer at HSG, he advanced to Steel Purchasing Specialist; then Head of Procurement for Tiles–Roofing–Sanitary Ware at Hoa Sen Home; and is currently Acting Deputy Head of the New Product Research & Development Department (since 03/2025). Concurrently, he served as Deputy of the R&D Representative Office in Guangzhou, China (since 06/2023), and, from 09/2025, as Head of Hoa Sen Group’s Representative Office in Mumbai, India.

From 07/2024 to 02/2025, Le Duc Tung served as Head of Hoa Sen Group’s Representative Office in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China—one of the world’s largest international trading hubs. In this role, he managed the office’s end-to-end operations, including sourcing strategic partners, developing the supplier network, negotiating commercial contracts, and ensuring transactions were executed effectively and on schedule.

He also acted as a vital bridge between Hoa Sen Group in Vietnam and partners/manufacturers in China, ensuring close coordination in business cooperation projects. With deep market insight and fluent Chinese, he helped expand the collaboration network.

Yiwu was not only where Tung performed management and commercial duties; it was also where he conducted market surveys and assessed suppliers’ production lines and product quality. Together with the prudence, strategic vision, and agile decision-making of Hoa Sen Group’s Executive Board, these efforts helped Hoa Sen optimize its supply chain and enhance competitiveness.

In his role as Head of the Yiwu Representative Office, Duc Tung was more than a representative—he was an inspiring leader, running an effective team at the Yiwu office. This marked a major milestone in his career, affirming his managerial capability and positive contribution to Hoa Sen Group’s sustainable growth and international expansion.

From 09/2025 to present: Tung is the Acting Deputy Head of R&D for the Hoa Sen Home building materials & interiors retail system, concurrently serving as Head of Hoa Sen Group’s Representative Office in Mumbai, India.

With a burning passion for his work, Le Duc Tung hopes to contribute his efforts—together with his colleagues—to building Hoa Sen Home into the largest building-materials and interiors retail system in Southeast Asia, and then the world.

Le Duc Tung holds an unwavering life principle: “Always be humble, always bow your head to learn from those around you, work to your utmost, be decisive, contribute ideas, be creative, and devote yourself wholeheartedly to the tasks entrusted by your superiors.”

Tung’s greatest dream is to give his all to create good and sustainable value for Vietnamese society. Coming from Tan Chau Commune, Thieu Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province—where he witnessed hardship and scarcity—he has an enduring desire to help improve the lives of those around him. With a heart for community, he hopes to bring more opportunities for children in disadvantaged areas to attend school, access knowledge, and change their futures.

He also cherishes the dream of building “houses of love” for families without shelter and warm, modern nursing homes for the elderly—places where they can live peacefully and with affection. He wants to help construct bridges and roads in remote areas to improve infrastructure, make travel easier, and spur local commerce and economic development.

For Tung, serving society is not only a responsibility but a source of joy—a way to repay life for the opportunities it has given him. He believes that if we join hands, even small contributions can add up to great change, helping Vietnam grow ever stronger into a nation full of love and hope.

Recognizing he still has much to improve—much to learn, practice, absorb, and change—Tung hopes to enjoy robust health in 2025 so he can always remain humble, bow his head, and learn more from those around him.
